Who we are

WM Uploader (the "Service") is a free web tool for publishing short videos to your own social media accounts through the official APIs of TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. It is operated by an individual developer, the owner of the Wife Material project. Contact: wwwiswife@gmail.com.

What data we process

Account data. When you sign in with TikTok, TikTok gives the Service an access token, a refresh token and your TikTok open ID. With the permission you grant (user.info.basic) the Service reads your display name and avatar to show which account is connected. The Service never receives your TikTok password.
Your content. The video file you upload, the caption and the posting settings you choose (audience, comments, duets, stitches, commercial content disclosure, AI-generated content label). The video is stored on our server only until TikTok has fetched it, and is then deleted. The caption and settings are sent to TikTok when you post and are not kept by the Service beyond the posting status.
Technical data. One sign-in cookie that keeps you connected, and standard server logs kept by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and fault finding. There are no analytics scripts, trackers or advertising identifiers.

How we use it

Only to do what you ask: to show which account is connected, to check which posting options your account allows, and to upload your video to that account when you press "Post to TikTok" or send it to your TikTok inbox. The Service does not use your data for advertising, analytics or profiling, does not sell it, and does not share it with anyone except the platform you are posting to.

Storage and security

Tokens, posting status and temporary video files are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage, encrypted at rest, and are reachable only by the Service itself. Access tokens are refreshed automatically and are never exposed in your browser.

Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept until you disconnect. The uploaded video is deleted as soon as TikTok has fetched it. The "Disconnect TikTok" button in the studio revokes the token at TikTok and immediately deletes everything the Service holds about you. You can also withdraw access in the TikTok app (Settings and privacy - Security - Manage app permissions). To request deletion by email, write to wwwiswife@gmail.com; it is done within 7 days.

YouTube API Services

The Service is an API Client that uses YouTube API Services for users who connect a YouTube channel. By authorizing it, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Through the YouTube API the Service accesses, stores and uses only the OAuth tokens that you grant via Google sign-in, for a single purpose: uploading your own videos to your own channel (videos.insert). It does not access, collect, store or share any other YouTube user data, and does not use YouTube data for advertising, analytics or profiling. You can revoke the Service's access at any time on the Google security settings page; revoked tokens become invalid immediately and are deleted from our storage.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
